Looking for a hotel in Cuenca with parking? Hotel Boutique Posada del Ángel offers guests access to a private parking facility located approximately one and a half blocks from the hotel. It is nearby, but it is not beside the entrance. Cuenca’s Historic Center has heritage streets and buildings, so parking is not always located inside or right next to a hotel.
Getting to the parking facility from Posada del Ángel
Once your space has been confirmed, a member of our team walks with you from the hotel, shows you the parking facility, and explains how to access it. Please request parking when booking or before arrival; spaces are subject to availability. Let us know your approximate arrival time so we can arrange the walk with you.
24-hour access and the remote control
The parking facility is available for use 24 hours a day. Our team lends you a remote control to open and close the gate. Please return it to the hotel staff as soon as you finish using it. The remote cannot be kept during your stay. Coordinate each use with reception or our team. If the remote is lost, a replacement fee applies; please ask staff for the current amount.

Why parking can be off-site in Cuenca’s Historic Center
Cuenca’s Historic Center is a protected heritage area. Many historic homes were built before private cars were common, and their original layouts may not include a suitable garage. Adapting a heritage property for parking is also subject to municipal review: the city’s rules require prior authorization for parking facilities in historic areas and restrict them in some architecturally protected buildings. As a result, parking arrangements vary from one hotel to another. Some properties have spaces on site; others coordinate parking in a nearby lot. At Posada del Ángel, our private guest parking area is about one and a half blocks from the hotel. Please request a space in advance; it is subject to availability. Once confirmed, our team will walk with you to the lot and explain access.
